Windy walk

A second dry day, still cold and windy, but much more blue sky around, always makes me feel better :-)

We walked along the canal to Leigh town centre, lots of walkers, cyclists out making the most of the weather too. The towpaths in surprisingly good nick considering all the rain, just one or two muddy patches to contend with!

We had a rest in Costa coffee with a cappucino to warm us, then a wander around the town centre, before an about turn to head back.

We didnt see any boaters today, other than a couple of privately owned ones, so have opted for this,run down row of buildings for todays blip, thought I might as well tag it for Derelict Sunday too.

Back home in time for a quick scrambled egg & smoked salmon bagel for lunch, before watching my team on tv......an awful start, hanging on for a draw just now, mot overly impressed :-/

We have lovely blue skies again now so might be tempted to get out in the garden for an hour on e the footy is over.

Dinner already prepped so no need to spend the afternoon in the kitchen today :-)
