The first day of spring

Officially the first day of spring today but it is still cold - it was lovely to see sunshine though. 

Gavin and I took Xena on a long walk, it was well over an hour and we walked 5.2 km rather quickly so by the end of the walk we were very warm and had to strip off our coats. We met a few other Vizslas and she had a good play with one of them. We also met a pair of scary looking Dobermans with clipped ears who chased her non stop for about 5 minutes, but she was too quick for them. I am sure they were friendly, they just looked a bit intimidating. 

We went out for a late lunch which was delicious, and then after lunch Luke and Meriel took Xena for another walk before going back to London.

And so another weekend comes to a close and hopefully we have better news this week - with twelve more Coronavirus cases in the UK we are getting more and more worried, particularly as the (local to us) man from Surrey had not been abroad and so is the first person to be infected within the UK.
