'A well worn path'

After not getting home until 1am this morning, I awoke at 6:30 with my ears still ringing from last nights gig. A very late night for me, but I was on a musical high. If anyone has the opportunity to see Gary Clark Jr. I would highly recommend you do yourself a favour and check him out (if you like a bit of loud rock and blues mixed with some sweet soul vocals).

A very productive day in the office today as I finalized two option for a house renovation in Daylesford, a country town west of Melbourne. I am really happy with the way both schemes have turned out, just need to pretty them up ready for a client presentation next Tuesday. The biggest issue is that I've designed to the client's brief, unfortunately it's very rare that their budget matches their brief. We'll see what happens, as I'm sure they will love the plans.

We're getting set for another scorcher tomorrow with maximums in the high 30's once again. Hope the idiots who have been starting fires can control themselves just for 1 day (please), it's tough enough for fire fighters without these jerks adding to the situation.

While I was taking this shot tonight, I heard a noise in the shrubs behind me and turned around to see a baby fox staring at me, we eyeballed each other for about 5 seconds before he/she ran away. Unfortunately, I weren't quick enough to capture a shot of it with it's very big round eyes. Would have been a brilliant image if only I had have had my act together.
