Golden

A good night's sleep after a packed day, we were up and collected the gorgeous girl from her house and went for breakfast in Bournville. No chocolate for me but a bacon and egg brioche butty in lovely (star-lit in extras) surroundings. And then a tour around the Uni, including Old Joe and the much newer (golden) library. A bit more shopping to ensure that the student was better shod and then we headed home having had a lovely couple of days in the GG's adopted city. 

Bailey was pleased to see me when we got back and we went straight out for a walk in the sunshine. Very little done after that and an early night is in the offing to try and off-set a lingering cold and the inevitability of Monday morning's alarm.
