Kemerli Konak Hotel, Kyrenia

Taking the car over the border into North Cyprus was easier than we'd thought. The car hire company (Europcar) suggested it, and said we just needed to buy extra 3rd party insurance at the border; this proved correct and it was very interesting to visit the north. I loved this beautiful old house converted into a hotel. This wooden bridge (replacing an older bridge and aqueduct) connected the main hotel building with the old restaurant. Really good value too, everything was cheaper in the north than the south.
