Whoosh

I volunteered at the Mill this morning as a miller only we weren’t able to mill. The water was so high that we couldn’t move the sluice gate and the water came over the top and was turning the water wheel. In order to start the mill you have to be able stop it first of all. But there were lots of visitors so we talked to them and explained the processes instead.

I’ve then walked home and did a very quick bit of gardening before it rained heavily. Other than that shower it was a lovely day.

HtP had been working at his mums and then we walked the boys together.
