Al and his brothers

Thank you to everyone for the kind thoughts for Steve, featured in my thumbnail with Al.

This is a photo I found from a Christmas party a few years ago, since Steve didn't think he looked good enough today for a photo op!  I did edit and trim it today, though.

We've spent time yesterday and today at the hospital with Steve and his fiancee, Vicky.   She is having a very difficult time handling everything, as she lost her mother last month, and was afraid she was losing Steve now, too.
Thankfully, he is stable and doing much better.  There doesn't seem to be any permanent damage, and he is having a procedure tomorrow to prevent any further strokes.
We will be there with Vicky while he's in surgery.  She needs a shoulder or two to lean on!

The brother on Al's other side is our famous artist, Bill.  He's already had two strokes, but continues to paint magnificent artwork.
Al's oldest brother, Roy, is on the right side of the photo.  We stayed with him and his wife, Susie, during our time in Florida, and had a wonderful visit.

I feel pretty lucky to have these four men in my life!
