Signs of Spring

It was foggy when we first woke up this morning, but it cleared quickly and it was even sunny for a while today. We went on our customary Sunday morning walk to the Hoyt Arboretum. I can't remember if I've shared a link for this amazing place in Portland Hoyt Arboretum. If you're on Instagram you can follow them there as well.

So many trees are about to bloom...or blooming. I'm not exactly sure what this blip is - maybe someone will know (there wasn't a plaque on this tree!) The sand cherries are in bloom, as are the cornelian cherries and the white flowering currents. The hellebores, camellias and sweetbox are all blooming in the Winter Garden. It was a joy to be there today!
