Pine Barrens

A lovely 4.8-mile walk in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. We’ve been through areas that were similar but this is by far the most coniferous forest I have seen here. Most of it was not swampy like this section near the lake, but this was particularly pretty. I’d love to come back and find the orchids and carnivorous plants.
