Portrait Gallery - Edinburgh

An early bus into Aberdeen to connect to the Goldbus to Edinburgh. We arrived in Edinburgh just in time for an early lunch/snack at the cafe in the Portrait Gallery. As always (in my experience) the cafeteria was very busy.

After lunch a tram out to the airport to drop off our luggage at the hotel before heading back into the city again. While at the airport there were squally rain showers passing over, very heavy but of short duration.

Back in Edinburgh time for an aperitivo at Treackle before crossing the road  for dinner at Rollo, then back to the airport by tram and the to the hotel.
