A bulbous root

Today's trip to the Dentist was to fill the root and add a fibreglass post to strengthen it and don't I have a unique tooth.

Root length is 25mm, 4mm longer than most. It does not taper as a church candle does. It has an "enormous" bulbous balloon shape void within the canal. You can see it in the X-ray. This delighted Mark, my Dentist, but left me worried as these things do.

This might be a consequence of a few childhood scrapes. Today it consumed amounts of rubber that had never been consumed before! Five X-rays and 45m in the chair and i'm prepped for next week's post instalment - literally. One more step along the road I go...
