Mono Monday: "Essential"

Sunlight is, of course, essential for life. And if you're a lurcher, you want to spend as much of your life as possible lying in it. This is where I found Hendricks this morning: sprawled in the sun on the stair landing. 

(Hendricks' friends may notice he's still wearing a rather fetching t-shirt to keep him from licking his scar (he had the stitches out on Friday) until it's fully healed. He should be free of that in a few days, though :)
