Today's the day …………………… for a new path

This picture was taken not far from yesterday's blip.

In the past, it has taken quite a bit of effort to get here because you followed a coastal path that was often a sea of mud at this time of the year.  But some organisation (and I'm not sure which one exactly) has done a wonderful job of digging drainage ditches to cope with excess water - and resurfacing the path with a gritty sand that is easy to walk on. 

The views out over the bay are always lovely - and it's so nice to walk along the path through the trees - without having to think where to put your feet ...……………….
