Seed head in snow

More of the white stuff again today and a whiteout so nothing scenic in the way of a landscape/sunrise etc. So I decided to give the macro setting on my LX5 an outing - having inadvertently stumbled across it yesterday after wondering why the views weren't very sharp...note to self - check all the bells and whistles before reeling off lots of pictures...
So although this may not be earth shattering in the general scheme of things, I'm quite pleased with my initial foray into the world of macro. You can just about see the patterns of the snowflakes!
