Red onions

A busy start to the day with a sprint cycle class at the gym followed by some local shopping. Feeling tired after this morning's activities it wasn't until late afternoon that l ventured into the allotment for a little weeding and to pick some chard. Thinking of the mono Monday theme of essential l ended up posting this one of a red onion that l was chopping up for tea this evening. Onions seem to form an essential part of my cooking these days.
