Abandoned Ship?
For a change we walked East from South Queensferry almost to Hound Point, taking the good, but sometimes puddly, track there and returning along the shore.
One particular area seems to be the main recipient of flotsam, among which was this dinghy, gathering moss and almost buried in the reeds.
There were birds singing out their territorial songs - we could not see them, but watched a great tit and coal tit foraging among the leaf litter actually on the path, which I thought quite unusual, as did the thrush which kept to the grassy verge.
The Honey Pot Arts and Craft cafe provided a welcome coffee, surrounded by ceramics in varying stages of decoration, clearly popular with children.
