St Bartholomew the Great

Great St Barts is one of the oldest churches in London, with a beautiful Norman choir that has been used for lots of films including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love and The Other Boleyn Girl. It's north of St Paul's Cathedral and just beyond where the Great Fire of London reached in 1666. Once upon a time it was a great priory, but a lot of it was knocked down after Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries. I can hear its bells chiming the hours from my flat.
