Great-Great-Grandmother's Salt Cellar: Tiny Tues.

I've been wanting to take a photo of my great-great-Grandmother's salt cellars for a long time. Here is just one of them that I cleaned up for the purpose.

My father gave me these many years ago. The glass inside the silver container is the most beautiful shade of cobalt blue. I don't need to tell you how very tiny the little silver spoon is. The rounded part is barely 2 centimetres (less than an inch).

I did rather like the reflection on my shiny sideboard!
