To the Britannia Hut, nearly

What a beautiful place.

I was fortunate to be pretty much on my own on my walk towards the Britannia Hut (see the map). This was a bit of a double edged sword: the track was closed due to avalanche risk and so I was on my own in the event that anything happened (it didn't) but it was fantastic to stop and hear no human made noises whatsoever.

Eventually, I turned back before getting there because there were some very big slopes next to me with new snow on them. Going back tomorrow, with company.
