Tiny Tuesday - Unknown Shrub

This macro shot of a shrub just beginning to show its fruit was taken in our garden. When we moved into this property some twelve years ago the garden was already established with trees and shrubs , some of which we have never been able to identify. This particular shrub which now stands at about a metre high was originally only about one third of a metre and totally overshadowed by our massive buddleia bush which is about four metres high. Surprisingly over the years the smaller shrub has managed to maintain its growth and now is at a point where it can get its own limelight as it is just above fence height. Sadly it is one of the shrubs we have not yet been able to identify so if any one can tell from this image we would be grateful; to hear from you.
