New door

Our leaky and drafty door is being replaced with a lovely new wooden one with a modern twist (thank you dad) and we are putting in a sunken coir door mat and today was the day for the old stone to be taken out and the drop made in readiness for the mat. It was rather dusty! Tomorrow the door is installed.
I’m pleased with the work completed so far. We are using a different to company to the one who did our windows. We still have window issues (ie they leak) and the company we went with have rather slopey shoulders....I’m drafting an email to the ombudsman as I’m getting nowhere with their MD or owner.
The company who are doing our door has taken a look at our new windows....they say they can help.

Anyway, busy week....it’s party weekend....someone is celebrating a 40th!
