Kinked portacath

Since I put this portacath in last week there has been no end of intermittent problems with it, so today took patient back to angio suite and did a lineogram despite it flushing and aspirating well. All looked absolutely perfect until noticed a tiny filling defect. Big decision to open back up but when I got into the neck I found a sharp kink in the line for absolutely no apparent reason. Ended up changing the whole port, and this was the remnants. Time to speak to manufacturers.
