Ullswater Pier
On The Line, Graham Nash
This afternoon I went down to Ullswater, the conditions were very flat with the snow. You could only just make out the top of the fells from the sky due to the dense atmosphere, even though there wasn't much falling snow to be seen. The High Road always looks exquisite when it's coated in white, especially with a calm Ullswater in the foreground. This is the old pier which hasn't been used in over tens years, I'm sure it was put there to be a nice focal anchor rather than a useful jetty back in the day.
