Woodpigeon roost

Always the way it seems, whenever I plan a photo it never quite turns out as hoped. This is especially so when wildlife is involved.

I have been noticing some Woodpigeon roosts at dusk which have been increasing in numbers around 50 last time I counted but not as many tonight.

I stuck with plan A and took the photo despite having to borrow a camera and lie on the floor in the doorway at my Mum and Dad's house to get this angle. On previous days the roost would have been easier to snap.

I even left my glasses at home this afternoon which is probably why I left my camera etc. etc.
