University Avenue

Meeting friends at our Alma Mater...across the Avenue my quick snap shows 1880s neoclassical Wellington church then to the left is circular Reading Room where I read a lot back in the day and the massive 'modern' University Library and Hunterian Art Gallery with some fine paintings and a Mackintosh room .. the whole gallery is open to the public and well worth a visit ...we were having a specialist tour in the Hunterian Museum which is in the main Gilbert Scott building also well worth a visit
