Down Amongst The Reeds

Temperatures are swinging widely this winter and today hit 57°F which is unusual for early March.

I liked the rim lighting on the reeds which made them stand out against the background. I emphasized the separation by using a narrow-ish aperture to throw the trees out of focus. The reeds are tall, way over my head height.

I didn't intend a sepia tone to the image, but it seemed to want to go in that direction, so that's how I ended up with it.
