Socks

A pair of colorful socks in a parking lot. Then I immediately wonder which story is behind this?
You don't just leave reasonable good socks behind. You also don't jump out of your socks without noticing. It is winter and then a few warm socks are very tasty.
They are the socks that have been left by a carnivalist after an adventure. Then you would rather expect a different item of clothing than socks.
Weird?
