Life from city to village

Flooding

As I neared Grimsby this morning, by the petrol station, you can still see flooding in the fields. And this is no where near as bad as East Riding, where houses are still with water above ground floor window level.

This morning I was chairing a quality group, and trying to get through the rather large agenda. It was one of those days where I ate my lunch in a meeting as I couldn't find any time to stop. Left at around 5:30pm, but had another hour to do once I got home.

Pulled into the supermarket on the way home to buy croissants. The shop has been emptied of handwash, and cold remedies. There was no paracetamol or cold/flu drinks. Shocked to hear a fresh 36 cases of Coronavirus today - quite a jump.
