Houston, Texas

The taxi picked us up at 5.30am and drive us to Heathrow terminal 2 for our flight to Houston, Texas. After checking in we had some breakfast. The flight departed at 9.10am and it was pretty empty. We each had a whole row of seats to ourselves. The flight took 9 hours and 45 minutes and we landed in Houston at 1pm local time. We got through immigration pretty quickly and were at the Sheraton airport hotel by 2pm. We decided to chill for a little bit by the pool and then got an Uber into town for early dinner. We were all starving (united airlines don’t give our much food). We’d found a Mexican restaurant online and the Uber driver took us there but after we were dropped off we saw another Mexican restaurant that looked nicer (called Ninfa’s) so went there instead. The food was ok. We were all really tired and decided to go back to b the hotel. The Uber cost twice as much on the way back. We were all in bed by 7.30pm.
