Golden Unicorn

Monday morning again and my hope for a  quieter day, perhaps week, was probably partly met.  I spent the morning catching up with things and the afternoon dealing with urgent requests. I do hope that the pace of work reduces to give us all time to catch our breath.  I made a point of getting out of the office for half an hour at lunchtime, and will try to keep that up.

However a massive email landed in my in box in the afternoon – the papers for a meeting tomorrow morning.  Not ideal as there is no time to wade through the almost two hundred pages!

I haven’t blipped a unicorn for a while.  This splendid golden unicorn adorns the door of the Queen’s Gallery at the Palace of Holyrood House.
