Gorsedd Circle, Bute Park
"Synchronistic coincidences are in effect "road signs" or a GPS signal."
Goro Adachi
(p.290 The Sync Book, edited by Alan Abbadessa Green)
Gorsedd Circles are also signs, that the place in which they stand has hosted the National Eisteddfod in Wales. The stones have a deeper significance of course and not only form an integral part of the ceremonial life of the Eisteddfod but stand as reminders long after the gatherings have dispersed. These stones in Bute Park were erected in 1978 for the Cardiff Eisteddfod, the central table stone having been moved from Gorsedd Gardens opposite the Civic Centre. The circle would be standing in floodwater from the Taff within two weeks. What stories these stones could tell for those who know how to listen.
