Newsagent

over the road.I've collected hubbys  paper all this week.
This building replaced a wooden hut .
I can remember queuing there with my Mam, ration book in hand ! 
Back then it was run by a Mrs Probert .

Her husband was Pritchard Probert a boxer from Merthyr Tydfil.
They lived across the road where one of her granddaughters still lives.
Ann told me that her grandma met her future husband on the beach one day  where he was training.
The shop was taken over by the son of another local Newsagent.
Now the Grandson runs it.

Nice and sunny today but VERY cold.
