Oystercatcher

This afternoon I walked down to West Kirby with a friend and we walked around the marine lake hoping to see some birds to photograph. They were mostly seagulls but  managed to get a shot of this oystercatcher and a few others. I liked the shot of the gull having a splash around (see extras).
