Flood waters, Mote Park

Wet, wet, wet. Heavy rain from 9.00 am and still tipping it down at 5.30pm. Roads flooded, rivers rising and a new housing estate built on a flood plain (!) underwater.

Magic trousers and new jackets got us to Rock Choir and back dry and warm. Other than that we stayed in during the afternoon. The 3D map of the Lake District arrived as we got back in so that was hung. Subject of a blip I think in the future.
