A distant sighting

A beautiful day.Mike had a meeting in Inverness. We had enough time to have a quick look at North Kessock the water was like a mill pond. Mike dropped me at Merkinch.I went for a great walk seeing plenty of birds including a peregrine falcon and this Kingfisher. It was a fair away off so could not get a close up shot and it shows how tiny they are.
I walked up to the end of the canal admiring the views and enjoying the peace and quiet. Well until about 3 jets flew past.
Had a soup from Harry Gows on the way back home.
