What To Look For In Spring

We took Ollie dog's old Volvo estate for service and MOT today. It's going to need quite a bit of work to keep it on the road. 

It has rained non-stop all day so I didn't spend much time outside with the camera. I always have my Ladybird What To Look For In Spring by me at this time of year so decided to take a pic of it as it's World Book Day. It was published in 1961. I love C.F. Tunnicliffe's illustrations. In the page I have photographed great crested grebes are engaged in their mating display. I have been fortunate enough to have photographed their weed or penguin dance a couple of times, most recently on 4th March 2016.
