The flooding is still here.
A day west via trains, buses and automobiles to visit mum and get an update of other family worries. What a tiring journey.
Then it was out for a fine bar supper with a tennis pal to talk over leagues, tennis teas and team morale. I may be able to play competitively again when I'm 67.
