The Follower

Spent a couple of hours at the allotment this afternoon, taking advantage of some rare decent weather. The smallest veggie bed is now dug over and weed-free and the local robin had itself a wee feast. Usually they will come really close when there are easy pickings to be had but this one was a bit nervous and only settled when I was sat outside the hut. Maybe because that was the first time I’d been in his patch this year. It won’t be the last!
