The thrill of it all

As one of my birthday presents, Mo had got tickets to Bryan Ferry at Newcastle City Hall. 

What a show. Loads of hits, along with some less well-known Roxy Music songs like Casanova and Just Like You. And the old guy on guitar stage left? Chris Spedding. 

Apart from a couple of moments, Ferry's voice sounded great. This was possibly why a guy behind us kept bellowing "I love you, Bryan!" between songs. Band were fantastic too. 

Afterwards I was standing in the street outside waiting for Mo. Strangely, a grumpy-looking feller walked out saying "Jesus Christ, I've never been more unimpressed in my fucking life." 

Seems there's no pleasing some people. But as Mo pointed out, maybe he has a truly amazing life.
