Back in the Borders
Singing this morning - some of the four-part harmonies were a bit too much of a challenge, and I kept on getting 'lost'. Pity the poor woman next to me!
Alan, who had been working on his fiddle under MrM's guidance, stayed for lunch. Then MrM and I had a drive to to Kelso, where MrM needed to drop off an instrument with a friend who will deliver it to its new owner. An excuse for me to put off the housework, and to find some Blip opportunities in the Scottish Borders on a gloriously sunny day!
Sad to learn that the BMG (Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar) Federation Festival in Edinburgh, where we were due to have a trade stall at the end of the month, has had to be cancelled due to the risk of Covid-19. A real shame for the organisers, who've put in a huge amount of hard work, and for those who were going to attend.
