So much life
Thank you everybody for your kindness in welcoming me home yesterday, as always I had a wonderful month away. I consider myself so very, very, lucky to have a place, half a world away and where the culture is so different to my own, where I can feel so completely at home and accepted as I am.
Thank you too for your hearts and stars for my sky-blip, wherever it is!
I managed to stay up till around 8pm last night then went off to bed, washing done and barely able to keep my eyes open! I slept till around 2.30am, which is 8am India time then managed to convince my body that a few more hours would be good and managed to go back to sleep till 6.30am. I stayed in bed and read my kindle and manged to relax for a good part of the morning, gosh it's cold though.
It's been a beautiful bright day and I managed to drag myself along to Timpsons in D'mains at midday. My watch battery died on me yesterday which was, if you'll pardon the pun, good timing! I also tried out the new bistro /cafe which has opened in what was the village coffee shop. I had a nice bowl of soup and a cuppa before braving the cold again and walking home.
I went into the garden this afternoon to fill the bird feeders which were empty. By the sounds of things there may be a nestful of baby dunnocks in the forsythia, certainly lots of chirping going on.
I couldn't believe all the flowers in the garden, I was particularly surprised to see flowers on the camellia and the most sheltered dicentra.
In the collage are : crocus, dicentra spectablis, rosemary, camellia, tête a tête daffodils, polyanthus, snowdrops and my lovely hellebore which is still covered in flowers.
Nice to be home again.
