Director Sam Mendes spent some time in Glasgow using this derelict location for scenes in the blockbuster movie '1917'.

It won a Bafta for best film, and 3 Oscars including Best Visual Effects.  Not sure I'll win any best visual effects for this image but its certainly a fascinating place.

In fact we seem to be constantly finding ourselves in a film set recently.  One of my favourite Blip locations was used 2 weeks ago to film scenes for the latest Batman movie, and next wek the makers of Bodyguard and Line of Duty will take over parts of the centre of the city to film the new BBC drama Vigil,
