Spring garden.

Another beautiful spring day.
Blue sky and sunshine, which felt warm.
A small group of crocuses in the garden which are just opening out.

As usual we did the supermarket shopping this morning.
We were lucky that our Sainsbury’s had everything we wanted. Plenty of toilet rolls, soap and tissues.
Just cannot understand why some people are panic buying.

Some friends called round this afternoon.
A. has just bought a Jag. Something he has always wanted.
It is fabulous. Not new, 9 years old but in pristine condition. Mind you his wife says he spent all yesterday polishing it inside and out.
He will be driving us to wine club on Monday night, so we will be arriving in style!

Just watching the flooding in East Yorkshire.
Still looking horrendous after weeks. Just no where for it to drain away.
Just can’t imagine what the people are going through.

If you watched the main BBC news tonight you will have seen the giant Cockerel at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which I blipped on Monday.
So nice to see the artist being interviewed.
There were also some more amazing pieces of her sculptures on show.
Think it will be a return visit for us soon.
