Shire Hall, Monmouth

Now Monmouth Town Hall. The statue in the niche is of King Henry V, the one in front is of aviation pioneer Charles Rolls, whose family home was near the town.

I was there for a Society of Authors meeting. In a cafe, not the Town Hall. Chewing the cud, as you do. Oh, and a scone with jam and clotted cream.
