Buenos dias Buenos Aires

What’s the wisest thing to do during both a global pandemic and climate change crisis? Possibly not to take a convoluted route to a third continent en route between Africa and Europe. I’m heading to our UK office for visa purposes and to spend time there for a couple of weeks but am taking a week of leave to visit Erlyn in Argentina on the way. Although no one is buying the on the way line, not even me.

However Buenos Aires is a wonderful city and it’s joyous to be back here amongst quintessential scenes such as this. When I visited in January 2018 it was drainingly hot (excellent of course but it made for sweaty walks) and even though it’s now autumn time it is still very warm and delightful.
