Bedwas Square
Taken: 16 February 2020
Bedwas Square, near Caerphilly, South Wales (UK) was very badly affected during the floods caused by Storm Dennis with the River Rhymney bursting its banks and flooding a house nearby almost to it's 1st floor. Occupants had to be rescued by ladder from the upstairs window about 2am!
The blipfoto shows a car transporter driving through the reduced level flood water some nine hours after it was at it's highest.
I think a lot of onlookers were hopping this driver was going to get stuck as he was taking a silly chance!
