CUP OF TEA ANYONE?
Made the effort to go out today. Just as I was leaving the house the phone rang. It was my Slimming World consultant just checking up how my week was going and offering support. She also mentioned that I was in the running for The Greatest Loser award which is happening on Monday - and did I want to be considered if after weigh in I was top of the list. There's only a couple of pounds between 3 of us. I said No - let it go to the next one down. I've won this award before so I would rather someone else held the title this year.
I got the bus to Newcastle. First of all I looked in the charity shops. I got a nice M & S top for £2. And I saw this crazy teapot. ( Shame its not Saturday as I could have tagged it for Silly Saturday ) It looks like a ball of wool with a pair of knitting needles stuck through. On sale for £4. I didn't buy it but maybe I was silly not to as when I got home I looked online - turns out its a vintage ( 1985 ) Paul Cardew Teapot. Apparently this design was produced for the Tea council to encourage people to drink tea. There's a blue version on sale on Ebay for £90. Wow.

I got some fruit and veg in the Grainger Market then headed to Waitrose to get a few items I needed for the things I am making for Taster Night at Slimming Group on Monday.
The weather today was dry, sunny and a bit warmer than it has been lately.
