She's leaving home...

The eldest went back to university today after an extended holiday for work experience. That wasn't how this shot began. I wanted to look at the flower (God knows what it is...) using the macro lens, knocked it and the petals fell off. I quite liked the idea that it was a pretty, pretty flower - but damaged. I thought about calling it Carnage but then realised that it looked like the petals were setting out on their own journeys which resonated with the theme for the day. And I'm not even a Beatles fan.
