Cheating a wee bit with a pic from a few months ago, a tv typo from BBC Scotland Weather. Edinburgh, the nation's capital, with an extra letter. Or one L of a mistake, as you may say.

I am delightfully nit-picky by nature - I mark as part of my job, in a previous life was a magazine editor and prior to that, I edited a page of the Collins French-English dictionary. The first two enjoyable, the last one of the most time-consuming jobs I have had. One page is a major piece of work.

I tweeted this pic and got a reply from BBC Scotland Weather, which tickled me more. That's tomorrow's entry.
