He's got a great stance here: head up, heels down, pushing his hips back and landing slightly front wheel first.

After this he had his first horse riding lesson.

Eva did the first half hour with Shona and was the best I've ever seen her ride. No assistance from mumb at all. Jack started to refuse to trot past the gate, Eva gave him a little flick with the end of the reins and he didn't try that again! She also trotted tight circles in each corner of the school really smartly. Charlotte dujardin will be worried!

Toby did really well, smiled throughout and managed to get his rising trot timing right. This is extra important for boys!
